What is Flexion Free Pilates?
Flexion-free Pilates program is based on exercises that specifically challenge the core, back, periphery – without twisting, rounding (flexing) or extending the spine while providing an effective, safe, full-body workout.
Spinal flexion is a necessity in our everyday life. We perform hundreds of forward flexion moves every day and our spine is built for that. But, for those with certain conditions, the flexing movement of the spine present in many of the traditional Pilates exercises is not appropriate.
